About us
CommonSenseTV is made up of people from all walks of life who volunteer, independently and sincerely do their best to investigate the truth and show the other side of the story to the public.
Because the media has let it down and turned against the people, we feel an obligation to stand up so that people can form an opinion after seeing or reading the other side of the story as well.
We believe that the main stream media is one-sided and that journalists no longer carry out their task as the watchdog of our democracy. That was and is the role of the media but they collectively renounce it.
Now they function as an extension of the government and are guilty of spreading disinformation and forcing opinions that fit the narrative of government policy on a daily basis. In other words: EU policy. A policy run by unelected bureaucrats.
Ironically, they trick people into thinking that platforms like CommonSenseTV are actually spreading misinformation. We always ask to indicate where exactly we have disseminated disinformation. An answer is always not forthcoming or you are scolded for running out of arguments.
That governments and state television blacklist us as “fake news spreaders” is a great compliment.
They want to silence us for revealing just a little too much truth, and the government wants anything but a society where citizens think for themselves. It is the nightmare of career politicians and anyone striving for more and more power.
That is why you will find here uncensored articles and columns, written independently of each other. Without political correctness.
We do not have a final editor. We do not interfere with each other's writing. We can have different opinions, and that is very healthy, but we all have the same goal and aspiration, namely
A society based on common sense. Acting on the basis of reason in a sovereign Netherlands
Something the Netherlands was once known for and of which we were all proud.
Our writers usually clearly expressed their opinion on certain matters, besides the facts, and the columns are of course intended for that. It is up to the readers to decide what to do with the opinions of our writers.
CommonSenseTV assumes that people themselves are perfectly capable of how to read certain pieces and that the opinions, in addition to the facts presented, are personal opinions.
You can also express your opinion under any article or column. You can even sign up to participate and start writing too.
We don't despise readers like the mainstream media does. They impose a certain worldview on you to protect politics. They feel they should decide how you should behave. They dictate.
We believe that everyone should draw their own conclusions.
We strive to keep CommonSenseTV clean and remove spammers, trolls and aggressive behavior or unnecessary profanity. We never remove anyone for his or her opinion, even if we are diametrically opposed but violators are removed.
We do this because our aim is to become a very large platform where people interact and discuss as adults.
Spam filter
Our strict spam filter and our security, which has been heavily invested in, prevent spammers from spamming our website within an hour with, for example, Viagra advertising.
As a result, it can sometimes happen that your comments are (wrongly) seen as spam. Don't worry, as soon as we see your comment for approval, we'll accept the message immediately (if it's not spam or if it violates the simple rules).
Are you in a hurry to get your comment online under one of our articles? Then try to post the same message again with a small change in the text.
Comments that contain a lot of links will often be seen as spam by the spam filter. You can also split your response into, for example, 2 or 3 parts.
You will never be denied because of your opinion, you will only be refused because of misbehavior or trolling.
We've watched many other (news) channels and their comment section mainly consists of people who don't give each other the light in the eyes and who go crazy on each other, supplemented by a couple of trolls who surreptitiously light up the fire.
We are open to criticism because we are very aware that we always have to hold up a mirror to ourselves. Healthy criticism is instructive and important for everyone.
CommonSenseTV has predicted a lot of things that came true afterwards.
It's not difficult if you are honest and honest with yourself and are able to turn off the television and investigate on your own instead.
